Sentinel Level 1

Foundational Training for the Modern Sentinel

The Sentinel Level I Course is the foundational program of Agape Sentinel Group, designed to

equip responsible citizens, security volunteers, and protectors of family and community with

essential protective skills.

This course blends firearms fundamentals, defensive tactics, medical readiness, and the Sentinel

mindset into one integrated training experience.

Participants will leave with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to identify threats,

respond effectively, and protect life in critical moments.


COURSE MODULES

Sentinel Mindset

  • Developing the protector mentality
  • Situational awareness and mental preparedness
  • Ethical responsibility within an armed capacity


Basic Handgun Skills

  • Safe handling and firearm fundamentals
  • Effective engagement tactics, techniques and skills
  • Handgun qualification (Agape and/or Org. Qualification requirement)


Deployment

  • Procedures and practices for Taking the Watch
  • Responding to real world threats (medical, fire, bomb, active shooter)
  • Documentation of an incident (report writing)


Defensive Tactics

  • Movement and positioning
  • Personal protection concepts
  • Edged Weapons


Valkyrie (TACMED / TCCC Concepts)

  • Trauma response priorities
  • Tourniquets and bleeding control
  • Casualty care fundamentals


CPR / First Aid / AED Certification

  • CPR fundamentals
  • AED operation
  • Immediate medical response


Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License (ECWL) Requirements

  • Idaho law and use-of-force principles
  • Safe carry practices
  • Legal responsibilities of armed citizens


Threat Assessment

  • Recognizing suspicious behavior
  • Pre-incident indicators
  • Decision making under stress
  • Tactical De-escalation


Vehicle Operations

  • Vehicle awareness and positioning
  • Defensive considerations around vehicles
  • Movement and response principles


Operational Survey

  • Evaluating environments for security risks
  • Identifying vulnerabilities
  • Basic protective planning

COURSE FEES

$1,500 per student

$40 Enrollment/Range/Certification fee (due 3 days prior to class)

Students provide handgun, holster, eye/ear protection, and ammunition (350 rounds)
